Take a look: The Lex 100
As good bargains go, vacation schemes stand out as amazing 3-for-1 deals: for just a few weeks of your time, you get to improve your resume, brush up your legal skills and, best of all, you can see first-hand what life’s truly like at your favourite law firm before committing to the full training contract experience.
Because we know a number of you are set on giving vacation schemes a try, we’ve put together a collection of relevant application deadlines to help you along.

‘Learn legalspeak in 10 minutes! OK, so we can’t make you fluent, but what we can do is introduce you to the most useful words you’ll need to know to be a lawyer.’
David Winnie is a solicitor with Thomas Coopper solicitors, just around the corner from London Met University here in Aldgate.
He did his LPC with us and has agreed to come along to talk as one of a panel at our forthcoming event “Get a Head Start on the LPC” which takes place on Thursday 31 May 2012. We also explain just what the LPC is all about and have interactive “taster” sessions so that you can experience for yourself the teaching style. Current LPC students will also be there to answer your questions. It’s the ideal way to prepare yourself over the summer.
If you are thinking of the LPC book a place with Patricia Mchale – email@example.com to give yourself a head start! Places are limited so don’t delay.
