Black, Asian and Ethnic minority Law students – see the Legal Gateway Scheme

Introducing the Legal Gateway Scheme which includes the Legal Launch Pad (LLP) programme and is aimed at Black, Asian and Ethnic minority Law and non-Law students who wish to enter into the legal profession. The programme offers a unique mix of work placement, mentoring & coaching, skills development, workshops, networking and other opportunities. Applications for the above programme can now be made, and the closing date for the receipt of the completed application and all supporting documentation is at 3pm on 30 November 2011.

The programme provides developmental training, offers practical experience of working in a legal environment, as well as access to a mentoring relationship. It is sponsored by leading law firms, barristers chambers and leading Law School including, DLA Piper, White & Case, Beachcroft, Berwin Leighton Paisner (BLP), Olswang, Shoosmiths, No5 Chambers and the College of Law.  The programme is also supported by the Law Society and Bircham Dyson Bell.

Please note that there is no cost to the students on this programme.
